🙋
Field Interviewer
The heart of Eats Pass. You sit down with restaurant owners, chefs, and food makers for in-depth, thoughtful conversations. You ask the questions that reveal the real story — why they cook, what drives them, the dish that almost broke them, the moment it all clicked. No scripts, no rush. You capture the human behind the food. Experience in journalism or podcasting is a plus, but genuine curiosity and great listening skills matter more. Starting in Kitsap County — Bremerton, Poulsbo, Silverdale, Bainbridge Island.

Food Photographer
You make food look the way it tastes. We need authentic, editorial-quality photography — the actual dish in the actual restaurant, the chef's hands, the steam rising off the pan, the crack of a creme brulee. No stock photos, no filters-over-mediocrity. You shoot on location during interviews and independently. Your work becomes the visual identity of every story we tell. Portfolio or Instagram required.

Restaurant Scout
You are the eyes and ears on the ground. You discover hidden gems, walk into new spots, build relationships with owners, and get them excited about being featured on Eats Pass. Part food explorer, part connector. You know your neighborhood — the taco truck that only shows up on Thursdays, the bakery that doesn't have a sign, the chef who just quit fine dining to open a ramen shop. You bring us the stories before anyone else finds them.

🙋
Videographer
Kitchen tours, chef profiles, behind-the-pass mini-documentaries. You create short-form video (60-90 sec) for social and longer pieces (3-5 min) for the site. Think: Anthony Bourdain energy meets local authenticity. You film on location during interviews and solo shoots. Comfort with mobile or mirrorless shooting, basic editing skills, and a cinematic eye for food and people.

Local Food Writer
You eat. You write. You make people feel like they're sitting next to you at the bar. First-person dining experiences, chef spotlights, neighborhood food guides. Your voice is authentic — not a Yelp review, not a press release. You've actually tasted the smoked salmon, watched the pizza come out of the oven, talked to the line cook about their grandmother's recipe. Our AI team handles editing and publishing — you bring the real experience that no algorithm can fake.
